Coming weekend the Mountain-ART Project Filzmoos is starting and I am happy that I can there also present some of my works.
MOUNTAIN-ART project is a completely new way of presenting and making accessible art in rural areas, but at the same time a very special opportunity to experience fascinating new views in the middle of a unique natural landscape.
The exhibition(s) can be visited free of charge, or, even better, hiked. Art cannot be experienced even more impressively than in the fairytale natural landscape of Filzmoos. (The exhibited works of the 23 artists can of course also be purchased.)
Picturesquely embedded between majestic mountains, gentle alpine meadows, rushing torrents, dark mountain forests and quiet lakes, Filzmoos presents itself to its visitors and guests as a mountain village like from a picture book.
Visual artists (selected by a jury of experts) have chosen this place of extraordinary beauty as an artistic setting for their exhibition(s).
All my shown artwork was painted on location in Flizmoos. If you have the oportunity to visit - it is worth. My exhibition will be shown in the Aparthotel and Cafe Hirschenau, Filzmoos. Dates September 2nd until September 24th 2023.

The 10th Anniversary of International Watercolor Society Globe Organisation in Izmir Turkey. Over 50 nations took part in the Event and the Golden Brush Contest. I have been representing my country Austria at this big Event. Below some photos and my watercolors I have shown in this festival .

What an honour to be juried to the Watercolor International 5 Exhibition in Thessaloniki in Greece. My watercolor will be hanging among the best watercolor artists in the world.

A project of the anniversary of 700 year´s of death of Dante Aleghieri and his Divine Comedy.
The Divine Comedy is conceived as a great vision, as a personal experience of the poet who, in the middle of life, in the Easter week of the Jubilee Year 1300, sees himself wandering through a wild, horrible forest on the night before Good Friday.
Wild animals – leopard, lion, she-wolf, symbols of lust, arrogance, greed, which can also be interpreted politically – block his way out, and he feels hopelessly lost in the forest, the desolate life.
This first canto I have interpreted with my watercolor „Lost in the Dark“.

In honour of the great Italian writer and philosopher Dante Alighieri I will take part in the project announced by UrbinInAcquerello to celebrate his 700 year‘s anniversary of death.

Peters Church late rainy afternoon
The Charity Art Auction in favour to paraplegic accident victims will take place at the Albertina, Vienna on September 29th 2020.
I have donated my watercolor - Peters Church Downtown Vienna late rainy afternoon-. It will be auctioned at the Albertina for the association - Verein auf Augenhöhe - for paraplegic accident victims. Starting price is € 400.

For today I got inspired of the sunflower bouquet I had bought yesterday at the local market.
Sunflores are always a challenging subject. With this one I had a good rhythmic paintingflow. Hope you like it.
